Tomcikova Closing In On More Records

Senior goaltender Zuzana Tomcikova has already left her mark in the record books for the Bemidji State University women's hockey program, but tonight against the MSU Mavericks, she closes in on two more.

Tomcikova needs only 10 saves to break the career saves record of 3075 saves held by Emily Brookshaw (2004-08). She also only needs to appear in 23 minutes 25 seconds in tonight's game to set the career mark for minutes played also held by Brookshaw (6075:02).

Tomcikova also needs to appear in 8 more games to break another Brookshaw record for games appeared in a career (110).

Tomcikova holds the following goaltender records at Bemidji State:
Career wins = 36
Career shutouts = 16
Shutouts in a season = 6 (2010-11)
Longest shutout sequence = 149:30 (2010-11)
Goals against average, season = 1.84 (2010-11)
Goals against average, career = 2.36 (2008-present)
Save percentage, season = .938 (2009-10)
Save percentage, career = .928 (2008-present)
